HOBOS

70s/80s shop in Swansea with some of the best bargins around! I just bought the cutest/craziest blouse that I would surely never find on the high street for just £8, and AND, 10% student discount; so it was £7.20..won't say no to that! Can't wait to post new pics up of my top.

Jessie J - Nobody's Perfect

Loving Jessie J's mad hatter's tea party (Alice in Wonderland) inspired video! The stylist (Anna Trevelyan) did it justice; Love it!

Seydou Keita

Seydou Keita's Potography:

His photography is very documentry based and captures environmental shots that are of an African style. I remember seeing pictures similar to these when growing up, where people would get their best outfits "gear", polish their shoes with endless amounts of "Kiwi" for extra shine, or use candle wax if there was no Kiwi supply around, all for that one snap shot. I find Keita's work very inspiring!
Also check out Beyonce's shoot for L'Officiel Paris (February 2011): Photoshoot Just heard on MTV that she has hired 200 African dancer for her new video. I for one, can not wait! (I am such a Beyonce groupie...can't help it!)
Wouldn't mind it at all if it looks anything like Seydou Keita's work.
This was an inspired shoot I shot a couple of weeks ago:

Marakong

I was in South Africa last December to see my family as that's where I'm originally from. I was in a little village called Marakong were I grew up and one of my best friends; Maleshuane, was around and agreed to take some pictures for my A Level photography. The crazy thing was this was her first time ever modeling and she was just a natural...I miss her so much!

I found the shirt lying around my mum's old abandoned wardrobe, then just used some stuff I bought over the year:

Paolo Roversi

Pretty much someone I admire. So I thought I'd post a few images from him showing amazing hair dye!
I would love to do a similar shoot to these; simple yet the styling, hair and make-up are so urban and vibrant.
